[Remote] Compliance Analyst - Commercial Automotive Materials

This role ensures compliance with various regulatory standards and collaborates with internal teams and external suppliers to manage compliance data.ResponsibilitiesReport compliance with U.S. state, federal, European, international, customer, and internal company standards related to substances and materialsCollaborate with internal teams to obtain and verify information related to substances and materials compositionEngage external suppliers to gather required substance and material data; track supplier responses and maintain a master fileEvaluate compliance requirements for new product launches and manage recertification of existing productsAssess the impact of new and evolving regulations and customer-specific requests on CVG productsManage material compliance data from a global supplier base, ensuring accuracy and timelinessCreate and present status reports for management and customersWork cross-functionally with Engineering, Procurement, Quality, and Legal as neededSkillsHigh School Diploma required5 years of relevant experience managing product material compliance programsIndustry experience in compliance or regulatory activities, particularly related to substances and materialsExperience navigating IMDS, FMD, and regulatory reporting frameworks (REACH, RoHS, Prop 65, PFAS, POPs)Highly detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsStrong analytical ability: evaluate, analyze, and present large datasets; drive actionable outcomesStrong verbal and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders at varied levels of compliance knowledgeAbility to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentSelf-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independentlyKnowledge of basic manufacturing processes, technical drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM)Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookBasic understanding of how the IMDS database works; ability to navigate the system and knowledge of required data for creating submissionsAwareness of current and upcoming reporting regulations and associated reporting obligations for material complianceUnderstanding of material and component composition sufficient to identify potential regulatory issuesWorking knowledge of REACH, RoHS, POPs, Prop 65, PFAS, and FMD requirements across U.S. and European marketsBachelor's degree in a related discipline highly preferredCompany OverviewCVG is a leading supplier of warehouse automation and robotic assemblies, electric vehicle assemblies, electrical wire harnesses, seating systems, mechanical assemblies, structures, plastic products and more to the ecommerce, transportation, warehousing, construction equipment, industrial and recreational vehicle markets.
