[Remote] Commericial Finance Business Partner - Hazardous Waste

The Commercial Finance Business Partner will leverage their finance expertise to support hazardous waste opportunities through pricing and financial insight, collaborating with various teams to drive profitable growth and innovative solutions.ResponsibilitiesDevelop pricing models and commercial recommendations using waste profiles, vendor costs, transportation needs, and margin targetsAnalyze customer profitability and cost-to-serve to drive revenue growth and margin improvementSupport new business, renewals, and customized hazardous waste programsIdentify rightsizing opportunities across volumes, service levels, and disposal pathwaysPartner cross-functionally to evaluate opportunities and translate operational data into financial insightsParticipate in customer discussions, clearly explaining pricing, disposal options, and cost driversValidate assumptions around waste profiles, volumes, and vendor costsAct as and collaborate with internal subject matter experts in hazardous waste pricing, disposal pathways, and TSDF capabilitiesMonitor vendor costs, market trends, and regulatory changes to ensure competitive, compliant pricingSupport risk management, audits, and financial reviewsSkillsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA, CMA, or CA preferred)5+ years experience in FP&A, business partnering, or corporate financeDirect industry experience in environmental services, hazardous waste management, or waste industry commercial rolesStrong understanding of hazardous waste profiles, waste characterization, treatment and disposal pathways, and processing complexityStrong financial skills in profitability analysis, cost-to-serve, pricing, forecasting, and margin managementAdvanced Excel and financial modeling skillsStrong analytical, communication, and presentation skillsAbility to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentHigh attention to detail and a proactive, results-driven mindsetExperience with vendor management, TSDFs, or waste logisticsExposure to customer-facing pricing discussions or contract supportProject management experience or involvement in operational improvement initiativesBenefits401K Matching: 50% employer match on up to 6% contribution (up to 3% employer contribution), with match starting Day 1, 5-year vesting scheduleComprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage effective Day 1; paid short-term disability; company-sponsored life insurance; and moreJob Stability: As an essential healthcare service provider, we’re recession-proof and non-seasonalCompany OverviewMAKING HEALTHCARE SAFER The philosophy that guides Daniels - striving to make a safer environment for everyone involved in healthcare.
