[Remote] Commercial Lines Account Executive

They are seeking a Commercial Lines Account Executive to lead client support, manage accounts, and develop risk management strategies while mentoring junior team members.ResponsibilitiesLeads meetings with clients, including meetings at client locationsResponsible for providing comprehensive client support and acts as main client contact for book of businessEffectively manages difficult client communications including loss of coverage, claim denials, unfavorable underwriting and other challenging renewal scenariosNegotiates and sells lines of insurance to clients to round out accounts as appropriateMay design insurance and risk management plans for clients as assigned and directed by Agency managementOwns all audit, review and claims processes for assigned book of businessAnalyzes data to draft client service plans, stewardship reports, and other meaningful reports tailored to the needs of the client and circumstances of the presentationManages and develops strong personal relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnelSkilled at forecasting industry trends to predict needed changes in client strategiesReviews changes in carrier offerings and policies and relays information to the larger service teamMentors or formally directs the work of more junior team members including Account Coordinators, Account Managers, and Senior Account ManagersFacilitates and collaborates with account team on the agency’s renewal strategyCreates complex risk-management strategies for accounts and other team members to attract and retain large client accountsPartners with industry and carrier experts to deliver strategy and solution options to clients and the broader agencyConducts book reviews to determine which accounts need an in-person risk assessment or client meeting to support agency retentionOther duties as assignedSome travel may be requiredSkillsBachelor's degree with 5+ years client service and/or claims management experience -OR- High School degree/GED with 10+ years client service and/or claims management experience1+ years supervisory experienceAppropriate licensing as requiredPrevious insurance knowledge and experience managing client relationshipsSolid financial acumenBenefitsMedical/dental/vision plans, which start from day one!Life and accident insurance401(K) and Roth optionsTax-advantaged accounts (HSA, FSA)Educational expense reimbursementPaid parental leaveDigital mental health services (Talkspace)Flexible work hours (availability varies by office and job function)Training programsGallagher Thrive program – elevating your health through challenges, workshops and digital fitness programs for your overall wellbeingCharitable matching gift programCompany OverviewGallagher is an international insurance brokerage and risk management services firm.
