[Remote] Commercial Account Manager - Real Estate

The Commercial Account Manager is responsible for providing customer service and overall service of assigned customers and policies, while also soliciting new business on existing accounts and supporting Producer-led new business efforts.ResponsibilitiesSupports Producer in developing new business opportunities for existing clients and prospectsInitiates renewal process for existing clients, and discusses and creates renewal strategy with ProducerAnalyzes and compares current exposures and develops renewal or new business specifications for marketingConducts marketing, negotiates rates, reviews quotes and coverages for competitiveness and accuracyReviews and summarizes marketing results and prepares proposalsFinalizes proposals and presentations in coordination with ProducerBinds insurance coverage and prepares binders and/or delegate certificates issuanceReviews policies for accuracy and review contractsPrepares summaries and/or schedules of coverage for clientsReviews client accounting history, responds to accounting inquiries, corrects discrepancies, and contacts client on receivable collectionsParticipates in the claims process as directed by management, including claim submission, follow-up and overall communicationProvides technical guidance to staff assisting with client needs or procedural issuesNotifies brokers of pertinent information related to client retentionMeets with clients as needed or directed by ProducerCollection of fees, reconciliation and resolution of any outstanding balances within 90 days of invoicing dateComplies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information)Other duties as assignedSkillsAssociate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceSix (6) or more years related work experienceValid Insurance LicenseMust continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewalProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent customer service skills, including telephone and listening skillsGood leadership, problem solving and time management skillsAbility to work within a team and to foster teamworkBenefitsWe are proud to provide comprehensive, high quality employee programs to meet employees' needs now and in the future, including a very competitive financial package.For more information on Alliant Insurance Service's benefits, click hereCompany OverviewAlliant Insurance Services is a distributor of diversified insurance products and services.
