Motion Recruitment is seeking a Cloud Transformation Project Manager to manage complex modernization projects involving cloud technologies. This role will require overseeing project planning, execution, and collaboration with various engineering teams to ensure that cloud-based data products align with business objectives.ResponsibilitiesOwn project planning, scheduling, resource coordination, risk management, budget, and overall executionCross-Functional Alignment: Acting as the bridge between technical teams (data engineers, cloud architects) and business stakeholders to ensure cloud-based data products meet business objectivesBuild and maintain detailed project roadmaps, milestones, and dependency frameworksIdentify, track, and mitigate program risks and issues with a proactive approachEnsure delivery of technical capabilities that meet requirements for quality, security, and complianceAnticipate bottlenecks, manage escalations, and make informed trade-offs between business priorities and technical constraintsCollaborate and influence cross-functional engineering teams within and outside the business unitAct as the central point of contact for all project communications and stakeholder engagementSkills7+ years of experience in technical project management spanning across cross-functional teams, with at least 3+ years in Cloud transformations (Azure, AWS Google Cloud Platform)Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, application modernization, and security best practicesExperience leading large, cross-functional technical projects from concept through deliveryExperience using analytics to translate business issues into investigative solutions and develop KPIs and metrics (e.g., cost savings, improved efficiency, quality, and velocity)An understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), cloud technologies, and/or hardware integrationAbility to translate complex technical concepts into clear requirements, timelines, and deliverablesProficient in Agile, Scrum, and other modern delivery frameworks.
