[Remote] Cloud Operations Engineer

The Cloud Operations Engineer is responsible for the availability, monitoring, maintenance, incident response, and resolution of the BeyondTrust Cloud Service, working collaboratively to ensure the service's health meets defined SLAs.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the day-to-day availability, monitoring, maintenance, incident response and resolution of the BeyondTrust Cloud ServiceWork closely with multiple teams and organizations to ensure the service’s health meets defined SLAsTroubleshoot and perform the initial triage of failed processes and instances in large scale distributed systemsEvaluate and implement effective solutions for systematically identified and defined problems, threats, and preventive maintenance itemsPlan work, identify risks, and provide accurate time estimates of deliverablesCommunicate effectively with stakeholders including team leads, managers, and directorsProvide thorough documentation for all work using strong written skillsFollow and implement risk and compliance policies and proceduresActively contribute within an Agile team to ensure continuous improvement of processes, policies, and automationPursue continuous learning through internal and external training opportunitiesSkillsBachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience with operating systems and networkingRelevant work experience with Cloud administration and automationExperience operating and managing Azure or AWS cloud environments including VMs, load balancers, and storage bucketsStrong background in technical support and service deliveryProven record of strong troubleshooting skills and technical abilitiesLinux and Windows Server Systems experienceWorking knowledge of BeyondTrust productsAzure or AWS certificationsKubernetes and/or Docker experienceScripting experience (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python, JavaScript, Terraform)Familiarity with Agile methodologyCompany OverviewBeyondTrust is the global identity security leader protecting Paths to Privilege™ with an identity-centric approach.
