[Remote] Cloud IT Consultant
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Vision33 is a forward-thinking company delivering cloud-based ERP and business solutions through experienced consultants. They are seeking an AWS Cloud IT Consultant to design, deploy, and optimize AWS environments for SAP Business One and SAGE clients, while ensuring successful client go-lives and maintaining cloud systems.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Deploy AWS environments for SAP & SAGE clients
ā¢ Configure and support web and application services (IIS, Apache, Nginx) and file/print services
ā¢ Lead go-live migrations, including after-hour cutovers
ā¢ Document build processes, adhere to policies, develop and maintain procedural documentation, and support continuous improvement
ā¢ Collaborate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure successful builds and deployments
ā¢ Monitor system and database backups to ensure processes are running as expected
ā¢ Complete environmental restorations and server maintenance
ā¢ Respond to security events and resolve issues
ā¢ Identify potential issues and drive proactive solutions
Skills
ā¢ 5+ years' AWS or other cloud deployment
ā¢ Strong Linux skills (SUSE preferred) and solid Windows/AD/Networking knowledge (VPN, Firewalls, AWS Security groups)
ā¢ Deployment of Windows Servers (MS SQL, RDP, DC, GTW, WEB, etc.)
ā¢ Familiarity with SAP HANA and ERP system administration (SAP Business One preferred)
ā¢ Experience with server administration, security protocols, and CloudFormation
ā¢ Self-motivated, independent thinker with excellent written and verbal communication
ā¢ Experience in customer support environments
ā¢ AWS certification is a plus
ā¢ Experience with project management tools like Smartsheet is an asset
