They are seeking a Cloud Engineer to design and implement enterprise infrastructure for cloud computing, ensuring secure integration with current applications and leading efforts in cloud adoption and governance.ResponsibilitiesAdvises and assists IT functional groups to define and implement solutions aligned with a Cloud-based Microservices / Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) for infrastructure or business applicationsCreates architecture deliverables describing cloud solutions in sufficient detail to develop bill of materials, technology components, vendor components, cost estimations, and design parameters suitable for handoff to implementation teamsPrepares solution descriptions, assumptions, technical approach, and content that explains why solution is recommended, risks and mitigation plansLeads cultural change for cloud adoption. Actively participates in the development and socialization of Infrastructure Solution roadmaps related to public cloud offeringsCreates and communicates cloud policies, procedures, standards, design patterns, and reference architectures that define repeatable solutionsIdentifies training and development needs required to support cloud-based solutions standards; develops materials for training and awareness and delivers messages to intended audienceInterfaces with vendors to ensure standard architectures are adhered to and implemented for projects within a specific technology areaProvides technical direction to management and systems professionals engaged in the analysis, design, development, implementation and maintenance of business information systemsEnsures alignment of infrastructure and application solution design to the overall architecture for Enterprise applications and compliance with defined technology standards, policies, processes and best industry practicesResearches and analyzes the technology industry and market trends relating to cloud technologies to determine potential impact upon the IT enterprise;
