[Remote] Clinical Specialist, Interventional Technologies

The Clinical Specialist will work closely with the Regional Sales Director and Territory Manager to address client needs in patient care, demonstrating how company products can meet those needs and contribute to sales goals.ResponsibilitiesCollaborates with the Territory Manager to provide good case coverage and clinical outcomes for patientsServes as the primary resource for clinical support in the areas of coverage, troubleshooting and in-service education for company productsEducates the customer on the merits and proper clinical usage of company productsInforms the customer on the latest product, therapy and technology developments in the industry by actively engaging in procedural and technical discussionDemonstrates the ability to link clinical data to key messagingMeets with existing and potential customers to identify their clinical needs, goals and constraints related to patient care and provide creative and feasible solutions using company productsTransfers account knowledge and other requested information to the local Territory Manager on a weekly basisExcellent interpersonal skills and strong clinical orientation with the ability to influence a variety of clinician, nurse, and lab tech personality typesSkillsAbility to maintain good working relationships while dealing with sensitive and confidential mattersExcellent verbal and written communications skills. Proficiency in business communication and grammarAttention to detail to maintain records and process reports. Knowledge of MS Office systemsA thorough knowledge of the medical device market, products, and territory's customer baseAbility to work independently and be self-directedBA/BS or equivalent experience preferred. Medical training (RN, cath lab technician, etc.) preferredA minimum of 5+ years of directly related experience, medical industry preferredStrong clinical orientation, experience with products for use in interventional cardiology and/or cardiac surgery strongly preferredA demonstrated strong work ethic coupled with a sense of urgency to accomplish objectivesDemonstrated ability to establish personal credibility in the targeted territory to create a forum for delivering our message to clinical staff, administrators, and physicians as well as overcoming obstaclesEmotional intelligence to manage their schedule effectively and efficientlyPrevious industry experience preferably in the Cardiovascular space calling on Interventional Cardiologists, Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Radiologists, administrators, and clinical staff membersAbility to stand for long hours wearing heavy Cath Lab protective clothingBA/BS or equivalent experience preferred. Medical training (RN, cath lab technician, etc.) preferredStrong clinical orientation, experience with products for use in interventional cardiology and/or cardiac surgery strongly preferredPrevious experience with vessel closure is preferredPrevious experience providing clinical education and training to staff members is preferredEducation RequirementsBA/BS or equivalent experience preferred.
