In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for diving into medical records, pulling out key details, and crafting detailed narrative summaries, contributing to the quality assurance process.ResponsibilitiesDive into medical records, pulling out key details and crafting detailed narrative summariesSkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredA minimum of two years clinical or related field experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferredKnowledge of the insurance industry, preferably claims management relative to one or more of the following categories: workers' compensation, no-fault, liability, or disability preferredLPN/LVN/RN may be required based on business needsMust have strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, medications and laboratory valuesMust be a qualified typist with a minimum of 40 W.P.MMust have a full understanding of HIPAA regulations and complianceMust be able to operate a general computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephoneMust be knowledgeable of multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the InternetMust demonstrate exceptional communication skillsAbility to follow instructions and respond to upper managements' directions accuratelyMust demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
