We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Administrative Coordinator to join our team in a remote capacity, based in MN or WI. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical administrative functions, providing exceptional support to our patients, and contributing to the advancement of health equity on a global scale.
Key Responsibilities:

Review and ensure accuracy of electronic chart documentation, including patient information, location, and duplicate records
Process release of information (ROI) requests and manage documentation and information requests
Scan and edit documents in the electronic medical record, maintaining confidentiality and adherence to regulatory requirements
Locate, log, retrieve, file, and deliver medical records stored in various mediums and systems, promoting principles of health information accuracy and transparency
Analyze documentation and track completion to meet regulatory requirements, working collaboratively with the team to achieve goals
Utilize Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to create, edit, and manage documents and spreadsheets
Provide exceptional customer service, communicating effectively with patients, staff, and external stakeholders

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent experience
1+ years of customer service experience within a hospital or healthcare environment
Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to travel to our office location in Minneapolis, MN for training and occasional meetings
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of customer service experience in a healthcare setting
Experience working with electronic medical records and health information systems
Knowledge of medical terminology and federal and state programs that impact healthcare coverage
RHIT or RHIA certification, or willingness to obtain
Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, or other languages

Telecommuting Requirements:

Reside within commutable distance from our office location in Minneapolis, MN
Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of company-sensitive documents
Dedicated work area established, with high-speed internet connection and information privacy
