[Remote] Clinical Account Executive

The Clinical Account Executive will ensure optimal delivery of clinical pharmaceutical services to clients while building strong relationships and providing clinical expertise.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, fostering strong clinical relationshipsUnderstand the unique needs and challenges of each client and tailor pharmacy services and drug lists to meet their specific requirementsProvide consultative management of day-to-day clinical service offerings supporting the sales, IT, and implementation of the clientβs clinical programsProvide clinical expertise and guidance to clients and internal teams on drug lists, drug therapy, and treatment protocolsStay current on emerging trends, advancements, drugs, and regulatory changes in clinical pharmacy practiceWork closely with internal stakeholders to develop strategic plans for pharmacy services that align with client objectives and organizational goalsAnalyze physician prescribing and member utilization patterns to identify trends and client needsProvide evidence-based recommendations to manage formularies effectively and improve clinical outcomesIdentify opportunities for expanding pharmacy services within existing client accountsCollaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop proposals, presentations, and other materials to support business development effortsAttend and lead clinical portion for finalist presentations, client benefit, and utilization reviewsIdentify client specific and emerging industry trends as well as short and long term up-sell opportunitiesDevelop clinical programs for the book of business and client specific clinical recommendations and programsParticipate in business events, conferences, trade shows and seminars on an as needed basisTravel up to 25% possibleOther duties as assignedSkillsDoctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution3+ years of experience in PBM, managed care, or clinical pharmacy account management rolesStrong knowledge of formulary management, specialty pharmacy, biosimilars, and healthcare cost-containment strategiesProven ability to communicate complex clinical concepts to diverse audiencesDemonstrated success in relationship management with external clients and cross-functional teamsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on outcomes-based solutionsAbility to travel as needed to meet client and business demandsActive pharmacist license in good standing, in at least one stateAt least 3 years in managed care, pharmacy benefit management, or specialty pharmacyExperience with GLP-1 utilization management and specialty drug trends preferredCompany OverviewLucyRx is an independent, next-generation pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) that is transforming prescription care.
