Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Navan is looking for a Chief of Staff / Strategic Initiatives to the SVP of Global Operations and Service. This strategic role will focus on driving key operational and strategic initiatives, connecting critical projects across the Global Operations and Service organization, and accelerating execution.ResponsibilitiesAct as a trusted advisor to the SVP of Global Operations and Service, providing strategic counsel and operational support on critical business decisions and goalsManage the Global Operations and Service SVPâs office, including prioritizing operational topics, preparing briefing materials, and coordinating high-level meetingsManage weekly GO&S leadership staff meetings including, but not limited to, setting the agenda, providing insights and analysis to inform strategic conversations and tracking follow through to increase accountabilitySupport key strategic initiatives including board materials, investor presentations, town hall presentations, leadership meetings, and annual planningWork cross-functionally with departmental leaders and stakeholders to kick-off, actionize, and provide support across key company initiativesOversee our goal-setting process, working with our management team to set, align and track company goalsDrive and lead critical strategic operational projects to deliver resultsSkillsPrevious experience in Chief of Staff, Operations, or Strategy roles working closely with senior managementAgile and action-oriented with a proven ability to drive resultsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, and comfortable interacting with senior leaders, external partners, and staff at all levelsExceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management skillsDemonstrated ability to lead a large portfolio of strategic initiatives and projects in a cross-functional environment on tight deadlinesThrives in ambiguous situations and has a bias for action, high emotional intelligenceCompany OverviewNavan provides travel, expense, and corporate card management to automate manual processes and drive spend visibility.
