[Remote] Chief Legal Officer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Wincent is a team of 120 people focused on high-frequency trading in the crypto market. They are seeking a Chief Legal Officer to manage their legal and regulatory agenda, ensuring effective navigation of complex regulatory environments while being part of the leadership team. Responsibilities • Own the legal and regulatory agenda. • Manage high-impact projects. • Speak up when you see risks others don’t. Skills • At least 10 years of post qualification legal experience, qualification in a common law system strongly preferred. • Former CLO or GC experience is strongly preferred. • Experience working in or with firms conducting regulated activities, including engaging directly with the regulators. • Legal experience with international capital markets: securities, derivatives, financial services. • Experience in international corporate structuring: corporate contracts, taxation, employment. • Specific experience with digital assets regulation is welcome. • Full relocation to Gibraltar, or at least 50% of your work time spent in Gibraltar.
