[Remote] Chief Financial Officer

Vermette Recruiting is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to serve as the primary financial steward for a complex family wealth structure. The CFO will oversee financial operations, tax planning, and investment oversight while working directly with family principals and advisors to protect and grow financial interests.ResponsibilitiesDevelop a thorough understanding of each trust and entity within the Family structure, including their roles in estate planning, asset composition, and unique distributions/ waterfallsOversee bookkeeping systems across all entities and manage the consolidated roll-up process to produce and monitor annual cash flow projectionsTrack and account for all internal capital transactions between related family entities on a monthly basisOversee family investing activities, work directly with external asset managers, and provide the family with clear reporting on investment performance and strategyLead ongoing annual tax planning and estate strategy updates in close consultation with family principals and outside legal and tax advisorsStructure business and tax frameworks for new investments, and prepare feasibility studies to support prospective investment decisionsParticipate in Family Foundation activities at the discretion of family principalsSkillsCPA requiredExperience in UHNW tax and estate planning, family office finance, or private client servicesDeep familiarity with trust structures, multi-entity family wealth, pass-through taxation, and generational transfer planningExceptional discretion, integrity, and interpersonal skills; comfortable working directly with family principals in a high-trust environmentCFP and/or CFA designation or a willingness to pursueCompany OverviewA boutique recruiting firm offering specialized contingency recruitment solutions in the areas of Finance, Accounting, Sales/Commercial Operations/Analytics, and other G&A roles at all levels.
