They are seeking a Channel Sales Manager to cultivate and manage accounts within a defined customer channel, aiming for portfolio growth through strategic sales initiatives and relationship building.ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of CRP’s retail and national accounts defined by a specific customer channelBuild relationships (likeability) and understanding (credibility) with every customerImplement sales strategies that leverage CRP’s unique value proposition by customer, resulting in continuous account growth and profitabilityWork closely with the Director of Sales to ensure that channel and key account growth objectives of new parts placement, line expansion, and special programs are achievedPromote and maintain sales relationships with both Manufacturers Rep agencies and National Account Category Managers through close personal contact, visits, video calls, phone calls, mailings, and email correspondenceApply accurate understanding of the client’s financial status and business drivers that sell CRP offeringsAccurately forecast all business 3, 6, 9 and 12 months out and communicate sales activity to executive managementMaintain a real-time understanding of the competitive landscape of the retail market to assist in determining win-based proposals and pricing strategiesProvide regular feedback on business opportunities and forecasts to managementTarget all business opportunities with each account and execute against a plan to attain that business (i.e. qualification and scoping, negotiations, relationship building, information gathering, and closing strategies)Identify customer’s relevant business issues and identify the appropriate course of actionManage client expectations regarding implementation and delivery of projects, quotes, and filesEstablish and maintain in-depth knowledge of CRP’s offeringsSkillsA bachelor's degree in a related business or technical discipline or equivalent experience in related fieldDemonstrated people-oriented sales management experience and a minimum of 3-5 years of overall business experienceMinimum of 2 years of relevant outside sales experience with a proven track record meeting, supporting and growing portfolios with an annual quota of $15+ MillionDemonstrated ability to develop relationships at the front line and manager levelSuperior problem solving and resolution skills along with ability to manage detail on multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent Customer Service and Communication Skills (written, oral and presentation)Proficiency in Window Applications; MS Outlook & MS Office, & ERP Systems including CRMFamiliarity with EDI and Business Application systems and terminologyAbility and willingness to travel up to 50%BenefitsHealth and Welfare benefits beginning the first of the month after your hire dateWellness programsPaid Time Off – 18 days per year, starts accruing from day one!!!Great people who live our Values!Company OverviewCRP Industries is a leader in the automotive parts and industrial products sectors, supplying some of the most recognized brand names in these markets.
