[Remote] Channel Sales Director, Strategic Partnerships

Davis Talent Search is a payments and technology company seeking a Channel Sales Director to build and grow strategic channel partnerships. This role involves managing the entire partnership lifecycle, from sourcing to long-term growth, and requires a strong understanding of embedded payments and software integrations.ResponsibilitiesPartner directly with the CEO to develop and execute channel growth strategyIdentify, prospect, negotiate, and close new strategic partnershipsMeet or exceed set quotas after initial 3 month ramp periodBuild and manage relationships with ISVs, SaaS platforms, software providers, and embedded payments partnersDevelop partnerships with professional service firms including CPA firms, law firms, wealth planners, marketing agencies, consultants, and software development firmsBuild relationships with influencers and industry thought leaders who can drive awareness and demandOwn payments-related partnerships from initial outreach through activation and long-term growthLead discussions around embedded payment solutions and software integrationsCollaborate with technical stakeholders regarding APIs, integrations, and implementation requirementsManage the full partner lifecycle including sourcing, onboarding, integration, activation, engagement, optimization, and retentionDevelop scalable partner and referral programsCreate and share best practices, success stories, case studies, and partner enablement materialsMonitor partnership performance and identify opportunities for growth and optimizationResolve partner issues and remove obstacles to successDefine, track, and report on partnership KPIs and performance metricsBuild repeatable frameworks for evaluating partnership opportunitiesRepresent the company at conferences, industry events, partner meetings, and speaking engagementsDrive merchant acquisition and processing volume through partner channelsAchieve performance goals related to boarded merchants, generated processing volume, and partner productivitySkillsExperience managing payments partnerships, embedded payments partnerships, or channel partnershipsPayments industry sales experience requiredExperience managing ISV partnerships or other payments-related partnershipsStrong understanding of embedded payments and partner ecosystemsFamiliarity with API implementation and software integrationsExperience sourcing, negotiating, launching, and managing strategic partnershipsExperience driving partner activation and engagementProven ability to build and grow referral or channel programsExperience operating in small to mid-sized companiesExperience working in high-growth environmentsStrong communication skills across written, verbal, virtual, and in-person channelsAbility to work independently with minimal oversightStrong business development, relationship management, and negotiation skillsStrategic thinker capable of evaluating partnership opportunities and structuring complex dealsHands-on operator who can execute as well as develop strategyResults-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountabilityPublic speaking experienceExperience working with influencers and content creatorsExperience building partner ecosystemsExperience working with CPA firms, law firms, wealth planners, marketing agencies, or other professional service organizationsExperience supporting SaaS partnerships and software integration partnershipsBackground in eCommerce payments, mid-risk payments, or alternative payments environmentsBenefitsHealth Insurance.Dental Insurance.401(k) with company match.PTO.Sick days.Company OverviewWelcome to Davis Talent Search.
