[Remote] Certified Energy Manager

The Certified Energy Manager will work closely with licensed professionals to evaluate systems, develop energy solutions, and support projects focused on energy resilience and microgrids.ResponsibilitiesSupport projects under the Energy Resilience and Conservation Investment ProgramAssist in microgrid planning efforts, including load analysis, system sizing coordination, and integration with existing mechanical infrastructureEvaluate mechanical systems in mission-critical facilities, including data centersConduct energy audits and develop energy conservation measuresPerform life-cycle cost analysis, savings calculations, and feasibility assessmentsSupport resilience planning and backup power strategiesPrepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and supporting documentationCoordinate with electrical engineers on distributed energy systems and interconnection planningAssist with performance-based contracting and energy baseline developmentSkillsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical EngineeringCertified Energy Manager credentialEngineer-in-Training certificationActively pursuing Professional Engineer licensureExperience with energy modeling, building performance analysis, or mission-critical environmentsExperience and knowledge on sustainability in a built environmentStrong analytical skills and ability to work across disciplinesClear written and verbal communication skillsMUST BE A US CITIZENExposure to microgrid systems, resilience planning, or data center mechanical systems is a strong plusBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and company holidaysWellness programs and employee assistance resourcesProfessional development supportCompany OverviewSalas O'Brien is a national leading Facilities Planning, Commissioning, Construction Management and Mechanical, Electrical.
