[Remote] CareIQ Billing Specialist I

The CareIQ Billing Specialist is responsible for completing invoicing processes for CareIQ Ancillary Healthcare services, ensuring accuracy in vendor payments and customer invoices while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Provides quality and professional inbound and outbound telephonic customer service to assist customer and vendors with billing questions Completes accurate data review and entry Learns and maintains knowledge of how to operate corporate proprietary systems Completes administrative review of medical notes and bills (Bill Review or Coding experience is not necessary) Determines if payment and charge rates are in alignment with appointment type and contracted amounts Uses bill history research, problem solving, and critical thinking skills to resolve customer questions Meets departmental production and quality performance expectations Additional duties as assigned Skills High School diploma Prior work experience in a detail oriented customer service environment Effective multi-tasking skills in a high-volume, fast-paced, team-oriented environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to meet designated deadlines Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize Microsoft Office and Proprietary Systems Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor that sets tone for complex telephonic conversations Ability to work both independently and within a team environment Benefits Medical (HDHP) w/Pharmacy Dental Vision Long Term Disability Health Savings Account Flexible Spending Account Options Life Insurance Accident Insurance Critical Illness Insurance Pre-paid Legal Insurance Parking and Transit FSA accounts 401K ROTH 401K Paid time off Company Overview CorVel is a nationally recognized claims management and managed care provider with over 30 years of experience in the industry.
