[Remote] Capital Planning Analysts

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Chevo is hiring two experienced Capital Planning Analysts to join their expanding firm. This position provides the opportunity for significant client interaction by learning the client’s business and becoming a trusted advisor, ensuring Capital Planning & Investment Control processes are accurate and compliant.ResponsibilitiesDevelops and validates business cases, artifacts and data supporting investment health, performance and departmental reviewsAnalyzes spend plan and contract data to correctly align investment projectsEnsure EVM approaches align with traditional and agile development modelsDrafts AAR Cover Memos and completes AAR shells in AgMAX 2.0SkillsCompleted Bachelor's degree in related field2+ years of CPIC experience with federal programs. USDA experience preferredPossess the ability to communicate with all levels of IT and Business (SME to senior-level) within an organization to capture information for IT Portfolio business cases and develop work products such as investment charters, operational analyses, analysis of alternatives, risk management plans, and technical studies in support of the USDA Capital Planning processExperience developing corrective action plans to address USDA OCIO investment business case feedback and partner with clients to remediate items identifiedExperience in Acquisition Approval Request process (USDA experience highly preferred): Drafting Cover Memos; performing detailed analysis of spend plan to identify AAR requirements; analyzing details of Spend Plan to identify AAR requirements; maintaining AAR SharePoint libraries and daily submittal of AAR status report for leadership; and, creating and completing AAR shells in AgMAX 2.0Knowledge of Earned Value Management (project performance measurement, forecasting, and variance analysis)Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including business and technical writing skillsPrevious experience supporting USDABenefitsELIGIBLE FOR PERFORMANCE BASE BONUSMedical, dental and vision coveragePaid leaveObserves all 11 federal government holidays401K plan with matchingMonthly SMART card employer contribution for commuting expensesTuition assistanceCompany OverviewChevo is an entrepreneurial organization with a non-bureaucratic environment to help organizations Change and evolve.
