[Remote] California-Barred Litigation Attorney (Part-Time, Remote Engagement)

They are seeking a California-barred litigation attorney with significant complex commercial litigation experience to work on an ongoing engagement basis. Responsibilities • Participate in sophisticated work with an Am Law team on a part-time basis • Conducting and responding to discovery • Legal research and writing • Preparing legal pleadings, motions and statements • Taking basic depositions • Drafting responses and motions • Researching legal issues and writing briefs Skills • 5+ years of complex commercial litigation experience, ability to work with little supervision • Capable and confident with discovery activities, including taking basic depositions and drafting responses and motions, as well as researching legal issues and writing briefs • Prior experience working at a full-service Am Law firm or a sophisticated litigation boutique • Excellent academic credentials • Licensed to practice law in California • Outstanding references Benefits • Full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week • Qualified 401k plan • Complimentary Group Life • LTD and AD&D • Professional liability insurance • CLE and Professional Expense stipend Company Overview • Latitude is a legal services company that provides employing, in-house counseling, and law attorneys.
