[Remote] Business Development Specialist

ESCO Technologies is a company that focuses on engineering solutions, and they are seeking a Business Development Specialist to support their business development activities. The role involves managing quoting and proposal activities, engaging with internal resources, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Responsibilities Manage quoting/proposal activities to include generation of Salesforce opportunities Create Salesforce opportunities to manage customer requirements Prepares and maintains a repository of templates, standard language, and product collateral Participates in gathering technical information for Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Quotes (RFQ) and Request for Information (RFI) Builds technical competence to facilitate opportunity qualification Engages with internal resources including Offer Management, Engineering, Marketing and Sales Ops Attends and actively participates in Doble events Participates in qualifying web generated leads to identify sales opportunities Manages schedule, priorities, travel, and manages company expectations Ensures that business transactions remain in compliance of the legal requirements of laws and policies such as Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), Sarbanes–Oxley Act, UK Anti-Bribery Act of 2010, polices of the US Office of Foreign Assets Control ("OFAC"), US sanctions policies and localized trade laws and/or policies Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team Performs other duties as assigned by management Domestic travel may be required up to 30%; valid passport required Skills Bachelor's degree in a business or technical-related field or equivalent 1 – 2 years of experience in using a CRM system such as Salesforce Excellent relationship building skills with internal and external customers The ability to work in a Team environment The ability to take direction Strong communication and teamwork skills Excellent relationship building skills Clear communication and active listening Excellent multitasking skills Excellent customer service Ability to process information well Excellent time management Attention to detail Results-driven Self-motivated Strong desire to learn new technologies and skills Technical/Inside Sales experience Electrical Testing experience Company Overview ESCO Technologies is a global provider of highly-engineered products and solutions to diverse and growing end-markets that include the aerospace, defense, space, healthcare, wireless, consumer electronics, electric utility, and renewable energy industries.
