[Remote] Business Development Representative for Leading LegalTech Company

LIT SOFTWARE is the leading app developer for litigators, seeking a national Business Development Representative for their Enterprise Program. The role focuses on expanding their litigation platform within boutique and AmLaw 200 firms by identifying new business opportunities and building client relationships. Responsibilities Enterprise Prospecting: Reach out to attorneys, paralegals, and IT leaders to schedule discovery calls. Most leads are warm, current customers Inbound Support: Manage inquiries and tickets to ensure timely follow-up Stakeholder Alignment: Engage legal and IT stakeholders using tailored value propositions Brand Building: Distribute whitepapers and testimonials to targeted firms CRM Execution: Utilize CRM software to manage outreach and maintain data hygiene Career Growth: Support the Director in Year 1, with a clear path to owning a territory in Year 2 Skills Proven skills in Inside sales and lead generation to identify and pursue new opportunities Strong communication and sales skills to effectively engage with clients and deliver presentations Confident communicator comfortable with a transactional sales motion Expertise in business development to develop strategies, build relationships, and drive company growth Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Organized, strategic, and motivated to grow into a territory-owning role Relevant experience in enterprise software sales, particularly in the legal industry, is highly desirable Bachelor's degree required Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred Proficiency with CRM tools and data management systems is a plus Law firm or litigation support experience (JD or Paralegal Certification) is a plus Benefits Generous and flexible PTO Health insurance 401(k) Flat commission % on all revenue generated, from dollar one Company Overview LIT SOFTWARE is a software development company that develops software for litigation industry.
