The Business Development Representative will drive new business development, establish customer relationships, and contribute to the company's growth in the healthcare sector.ResponsibilitiesDrive new business development for CRC and CT closure productsProspect, target, and secure new customers within pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and medical device marketsEstablish and manage relationships with key decision-makers, including executive, technical, operations, and maintenance stakeholdersLead client meetings, including on-site visits, plant tours, and technical discussionsRespond to RFPs and develop customer-specific quotes, proposals, and commercial agreementsServe as the primary negotiator for customer contracts and ensure successful execution of commercial commitmentsAct as a customer advocate internally while challenging cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutionsPartner with marketing to support go-to-market strategies and influence product development and portfolio expansionAttend industry trade shows, conferences, and customer events to identify trends and growth opportunitiesProvide ongoing feedback to senior leadership on market dynamics, competitive activity, and pipeline healthSkillsProven experience selling CRC and CT closuresDirect exposure to child-resistant packaging (e.g., push-and-turn caps, pharmaceutical or vitamin closures)Experience selling into pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare packaging marketsBachelor's degree (preferred unless offset by extensive CRC experience)Ability to operate independently in a fully remote environmentWillingness to travel 40-50% to develop new customer relationshipsCandidates must not have an active non-compete related to CRC closuresBenefitsDiscretionary bonusesParticipation in medical, dental, and vision benefitsCompany's retirement plan (or similar retirement benefits)Company OverviewVaco is the Talent Solutions division of Highspring, a leading global professional services organization.
