[Remote] Business Development Representative

They are seeking a Business Development Representative to drive growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities, focusing on lead generation through various outreach methods and collaboration with Account Executives.ResponsibilitiesConduct outbound prospecting through email, phone, social media, and other channels to generate qualified discovery meetings within your aligned territoryPartner closely with aligned Account Executive(s) to prospect and develop new business opportunitiesResearch and understand the HR and leave management challenges of prospective organizationsMaintain accurate records of outreach activities, leads, and opportunities within the CRM systemCollaborate with Sales and Marketing to refine messaging, campaigns, and outreach strategiesParticipate in sales meetings and strategy sessions to align efforts with broader revenue goalsContinuously build knowledge of AbsenceSoft’s solutions, industry trends, and competitive landscapeMeet or exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation and pipeline development targetsOperate in a highly compliant environment and assist in maintaining company security and compliance controlsOther duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation within SaaS or technology environments preferredStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsSelf-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentExperience using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools such as Outreach, ZoomInfo, or LinkedInStrong organizational, research, and time management skillsExperience or familiarity with HR technology, leave management, or compliance-related solutionsUnderstanding of outbound prospecting strategies and lead qualification methodologiesAbility to analyze sales data to optimize outreach and engagement strategiesExperience prospecting into multiple buyer personas within mid-market or enterprise organizationsExperience leveraging AI, automation, or modern sales tools to improve productivity and outreach effectivenessBenefitsComprehensive benefitsPerformance-based bonus programEquity opportunitiesFlexible time offPaid holidaysFlexible leave programsCompany OverviewAbsenceSoft provides leave and accommodation management SaaS solutions.
