[Remote] Business Development Representative

The Business Development Representative will contribute to expanding the customer base by engaging prospective clients and driving lead-generation activities to support sales growth.ResponsibilitiesAchieve or exceed annual sales quota goal and required activity goals and metrics as stipulated by the manager or in the Sales Compensation Plan incentive agreementQualify inbound leads and prospects from marketing or other sources and ensure successful pass off to the appropriate team memberImplement high-volume outreach strategies or campaigns to proactively generate interest and initiate contact with prospects for the sales team, including market research, outbound calls, emails, social media engagements, or other prospecting methodsRefine and adapt prospecting tactics and value proposition as company, industry, competition or sales practices changeMake strong connections and rapport with prospects to create urgency, excitement and enthusiasm for ImageTrend solutionsTrack and report all activities, maintaining accurate records of interactions in Salesforce, or other required systems, and provide insights to help improve outreach effortsAct as a company ambassador with high integrity and professionalism to support lead development and strengthen relationships with ImageTrend clients, prospects, partners, and other external audiencesCollaborate and communicate effectively with team members, colleagues, and all other external or internal stakeholders to identify sales opportunities, retain clients, escalate issues to appropriate teams, and share best practicesAttend and actively participate in meetings, including but not limited to recurring team meetings, trainings and 1:1’s with leadership, territory or pipeline reviews, Community Updates, Product or cross-functional updates and other meetings as requiredAdhere to departmental standards, workflows, SLA’s and other metrics or processes as requiredTravel to orientation, industry or company events, or other onsite meetings as requiredPerform additional duties or tasks as assignedSkillsSome college-level coursework or professional certification in business, marketing, communications or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experienceProven track record in driving successful sales growth as a Business Development Representative or similar position, or direct industry experience in Fire, EMS or healthcare with a strong desire to pursue a career in salesStrong understanding of lead generation strategies and sales processesEffective communication skills both written and verbal, and the ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders and decision makersDisplays positive attitude, confidence and resilience when faced with obstacles and performing repetitive tasksAbility to quickly identify suitability based on standard parameters and guidelines providedStrong technical aptitude to learn new systems and exposure to MS Office Suite, CRM, Hubspot or other similar sales technologies toolsProven to be a motivated self-starter and work independently within a highly collaborative and team-oriented environmentTime management and organizational skills, the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment and can adjust and adapt to changing prioritiesProblem-solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to maintain discretion when handling proprietary and confidential informationEnthusiasm for learning and expanding knowledge or skillsStrong work ethic, integrity, honesty, collaboration and team orientationAbility to travel as required, up to 10%BenefitsCommission incentive eligibilityBenefitsPerksCommunity gainsCore healthcare coverages, plus employer sponsored group policies & additional voluntary plansFlexible PTO, Sick Days, Holidays, Parental Leave & VolunteeringRoth or Traditional 401(k) & Employer MatchRemote, Hybrid & Onsite options, Flex & Alternate Scheduling ArrangementsInternal growth, Tuition Reimbursement, Professional Development & LinkedIn Learning accessCommunity Gains Incentive ProgramReferral Bonus ProgramEmployee Assistance ProgramCompany OverviewImageTrend is a industry-specific software for emergency medical services.
