[Remote] Business Development Representative

The Business Development Representative (BDR) will be instrumental in driving revenue growth by generating qualified leads and establishing initial contact with potential customers, while collaborating closely with the sales team to advance the sales pipeline. Responsibilities Prospect and identify potential clients in the advertising and marketing industry through targeted research, lead generation tools, and networking platforms Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, emailing, and social selling, to engage with potential customers and create interest in our advertising tech solutions Qualify leads by conducting thorough needs assessments, understanding their pain points, and aligning our products/services to their specific requirements Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective strategies, messaging, and value propositions for lead generation and follow-up activities Run virtual discovery demos to move qualified opportunities forward Skills 0-2 years of experience selling software or relevant product in the advertising, CPG or marketing space Experience with tech-startups is a plus Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to effectively assess technical skills Highly detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities Company Overview Pear simplifies retail marketing by connecting CPG advertisements directly with retailers.
