They are seeking a Business Development Representative to expand their network of approved broker partners by engaging with prospective clients and guiding them through the approval process.ResponsibilitiesProactively reach out to prospects in Newfi’s CRM/database to introduce our wholesale lending platform and productsQualify leads and guide them through the broker approval process, ensuring a smooth and positive onboarding experienceConsistently convert prospects into approved clients and hand them off seamlessly to the Account Executive (AE) teamBuild and maintain a steady pipeline of new broker partnersTrack activity and progress in the CRM, providing regular updates on prospect status and conversion metricsDrive growth in the total number of loan officers actively submitting and closing loans with NewfiCollaborate with the sales and marketing teams on targeted outreach campaigns and strategies to maximize engagementGather feedback from prospects and clients to inform product development and sales strategiesStay current on industry trends and competitor offerings to position Newfi as a premier wholesale lenderAchieving or exceeding monthly and quarterly targets for the number of prospects converted into approved broker accountsDriving measurable growth in the total number of loan officers actively submitting and closing loans with NewfiMaintaining high conversion rates from initial outreach to account approvalMeeting or exceeding weekly outreach activity goals (calls, emails, and meetings) to ensure consistent pipeline flowContributing directly to overall funded loan volume growth through effective prospect conversion and activation effortsSkills1–3 years of sales or business development experience (mortgage, fintech, or B2B sales preferred)Strong communication and relationship-building skillsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivatedExperience using CRM tools to manage leads and track activityGoal-driven with a passion for exceeding performance targetsExcellent communicator and coach; high judgment on when to inspect vs. empowerHands-on with CRM and enablement tools (e.g., Salesforce or equivalent), call recording analytics, and basic BI dashboardsBenefitsCompetitive comp plan with salary401k and full medical, dental, visionLeadership at your fingertipsCompany OverviewNewfi Lending is reshaping the mortgage experience through a combination of proprietary technology and product innovation.
