RWS Group is a leader in AI data services, and they are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business growth by identifying and developing opportunities. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute go-to-market strategies and managing lead generation efforts in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesProactively generate and qualify new leads through outbound prospecting, research, and targeted outreach across enterprise accountsSupport the early stages of the sales cycle, including lead qualification, discovery, and nurturing opportunities through to handover or progressionExecute and continuously improve prospecting and lead generation campaigns, leveraging tools such as Outreach and other sales engagement platformsManage a dynamic pipeline of opportunities, effectively prioritizing and re-prioritizing activities in a fast-paced, evolving environmentCollaborate closely with internal teams (TrainAI Solutions, Marketing, Sales, and Production) to shape solutions, proposals, and go-to-market approachesMaintain accurate tracking of activities, pipeline, and engagement within Salesforce CRMEngage with prospects across a global territory, including coordination with North America and Europe stakeholdersContribute to building and refining sales processes, messaging, and ways of working in a developing and sometimes unstructured environmentDevelop a strong understanding of RWS services, AI/data solutions, and market positioning to effectively support business development effortsDemonstrate a proactive approach to learning, development, and skill-building, with a focus on growing into a more advanced sales role over timeSkills2–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation (e.g., SDR, BDR, or early-stage sales roles)Experience in outbound prospecting and pipeline generation; exposure to full sales cycle is a plus but not requiredDemonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous, and evolving environmentsStrong learning agility, resilience, and motivation to grow into a more senior commercial roleAbility to manage multiple priorities and opportunities simultaneously with a proactive, solution-oriented mindsetExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholdersFamiliarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach)Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally and contribute to team successStrong organizational skills with a willingness to adapt and help build structure where processes are still maturingProfessional fluency in English; additional languages are an assetSelf-starter with a high level of ownership, curiosity, and drive to prove and develop capabilitiesBackground in technology, language services, AI/data services, or related industriesBenefitsGenerous paid time off package, plus company holidays, birthday day off, paid volunteer time, and 100% paid parental leave.401(k) Retirement plan with company match.Company-wide agile work policy with flexible work arrangements.Opportunities for training, professional development, and personal growth.Company OverviewRWS is a global AI solutions company empowering the world’s most trusted enterprise AI.
