The Business Development Manager, Data Center Market will focus on expanding the company's presence in the North American data center sector while engaging directly with customers and engineering firms.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a North American strategy for capturing data center market shareIdentify and engage directly with key data center end users, design engineers, and engineering firms to build long-term relationships and uncover new opportunitiesBuild a centralized database of data center projects, actively tracking their lifecycle stages (planning, zoning, engineering, preconstruction, construction, completion)Serve as the internal market expert for the data center industry, sharing trends, forecasts, and competitive intelligence with the broader organizationExpand Basic Concepts’ product relevance and offerings within data centers beyond current environmental productsDrive end-user specification through direct engagement and collaboration with engineering consultants and project stakeholdersPartner with regional sales managers to jointly grow market presence and improve penetration into strategic accountsProvide detailed market and competitor feedback to guide product development and business strategySkills5+ years of business development, strategic sales, or technical sales experience—preferably in construction, data center, or infrastructure-related productsDemonstrated success building relationships directly with end users and engineering firms in a complex or emerging verticalExperience researching and tracking long-cycle projects (e.g., infrastructure, data centers, utilities)Strong familiarity with data center development processes and key players in the industry is a significant plusBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferredWillingness to travel up to 40% within North AmericaProven ability to build and nurture strategic customer and partner relationshipsStrong knowledge of sales processes, project tracking, and CRM systems (Salesforce experience preferred)Excellent analytical and research skills for compiling market intelligence and project pipelinesSelf-starter with a growth mindset and high degree of independenceIntegrity and professionalism in all customer interactionsBenefitsAnnual incentive plan to enhance their overall total compensation package when Justrite Safety Group and their business units achieve annual business and financial targetsComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverageFlexible hours and alternative work arrangements designed to support a healthy work-life balance401K plan, complete with a company matchCompany-paid short and long-term disability insuranceGenerous paid time offPersonal daysRobust employee wellness program that supports your overall health and happinessCompany OverviewJustrite Safety Group (JSG) manufactures and provides industrial safety solutions.
