The Business Development Manager - CPG will grow the business by developing and maintaining relationships with clients across various industries while adding strategic customers to Westfall’s portfolio.ResponsibilitiesLead or execute growth strategies and activities for a current book of customers as well as targeted accounts, market expansion and strategic key accounts as defined and developedDevelop and execute annual and monthly sales plans and objectives for account assignmentsThoroughly understand and consistently communicate Westfall’s Customer Value PropositionContinually research, network, and prospect within the market segmentMaintain and evolve a database of leads, industry contacts, and competitors for the marketParticipate with (e.g., attend conferences) and contribute to (e.g., presenting) relevant trade organizations and publications when applicableIdentify, screen (using established criteria) and qualify opportunities that match Westfall’s strategic plan and visionCollaboratively work with cross functional teams to develop and present proposals for effective and valued custom plastics solutionsPlan and conduct strategic negotiations with clients, including concession strategies and contract negotiationsAchieve annual sales goals that are consistent with corporate requirements for predictability, profitability, resource availability and strategyAlways maintain a pipeline of new opportunities sufficient to meet a running 12-month revenue goalMonitor and manage, or participate in managing, relationships with current clients for current programs including business reviews and program change requestsChampion a customer first mindset while promoting innovation, agility and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholdersSkillsMinimum of eight years of industry experience in the areas of business development, strategic planning, financial management, and complex negotiations with Fortune 100 BrandsDemonstrated and consistent year over year profitable growth driven by both organic expansion and strategic acquisitionsProven success developing and executing go to market strategiesGrowth-oriented leader with deep industry knowledge, commercial acumen, and a proven track record in value-based selling B2B within complex manufacturing environmentsAbility to collaborate across Product Development, Engineering, Tooling, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance and Quality to deliver cost effective, profitable and scalable custom molded value add plastics solutionsManufacturing experience required, Plastics or Tooling preferredBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related fieldFrequent Travel up to 50% of the time as requiredBenefitsIncentives11 Paid Holidays, Sick Pay, Vacation Pay401K, Plus Employer MatchMedical, Dental, Vision, Company Sponsored Life and AD&D, Short- and Long-Term Disability, Paid Parental Leave, and More…Company OverviewIn 2017, industry leaders envisioned a vertically integrated custom injection molder to serve the world’s largest OEMs in Healthcare and Consumer Packaging.
