[Remote] Business Development Manager

Vogrinc Search Group is a global leader in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment products and equipment, seeking a driven Business Development Manager to support growth in key Industrial Markets. This role focuses on developing business within food & beverage, protein processing, and dairy markets, selling treatment technologies and capital equipment.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting food & beverage, protein processing, and dairy facilitiesLeverage existing industry relationships to identify opportunities and accelerate market penetrationBuild and maintain relationships with plant leadership, corporate decision-makers, engineering firms, EPCs, and design-build partnersUnderstand customer operational challenges and align them with appropriate water and wastewater treatment solutionsManage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, presentations, proposals, contract negotiation, and closingCollaborate with internal engineering, applications, and project teams to ensure accurate scoping and successful project deliveryMonitor market trends, competitor activity, customer needs, and emerging technologiesRepresent the company at trade shows, conferences, customer meetings, and industry eventsMaintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, pipeline updates, and activity reportsManage and support independent representative relationshipsSkills3+ years of sales experience selling capital equipment, industrial systems, process technologies, or related solutions into food & beverage, protein processing, or dairy marketsFamiliarity with water treatment, wastewater processes, environmental compliance, or industrial utility systemsExperience working with engineering firms, EPCs, design-build contractors, or consulting engineersEstablished relationships across plant, corporate, engineering, and design levelsStrong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand technical and operational challengesProven sales success in industrial marketsExcellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skillsStrong MS Office skills and proficiency using CRM toolsSelf-motivated, organized, and effective in a remote environmentAbility to travel up to 70%BenefitsBonus eligibleMedical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, and AD&D insurancePaid Parental Leave401(k) with matchPTOHolidaysCompany OverviewVogrinc Search Group is a professional and executive recruiting firm with a 35+ year history of serving multiple industries, including: manufacturing, service, and supply chain sectors.
