The Business/Technical Consultant plays a key role in providing implementation, consulting, and technical expertise to clients during the deployment and integration of software solutions, ensuring successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesEngage with clients to gather and analyze business requirements, objectives, and challengesConduct discovery sessions, workshops, and interviews to understand client processes and workflowsTranslate client requirements into detailed implementation plans and solution designsConfigure software solutions based on client requirements, ensuring alignment with best practices and product capabilitiesCustomize and tailor solutions to meet specific client needs, integrating with existing systems and third-party applications as necessaryTest and validate configurations to ensure functionality, usability, and performance meet client expectationsLead or support the implementation and deployment of software solutions, managing project timelines, milestones, and deliverablesCollaborate with project managers, technical teams, and stakeholders to execute project plans and ensure smooth project executionProvide technical guidance and support during go-live activities, system integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)Deliver product training sessions and workshops to client stakeholders, including end-users, administrators, and executivesCreate and maintain training materials, documentation, and user guides to support client enablement and adoptionFacilitate knowledge transfer and provide ongoing support to clients to ensure they maximize the value of the software solutionBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and advocate for their successProactively identify opportunities for additional services, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities based on client needs and usageMonitor client satisfaction, gather feedback, and address concerns to ensure a positive customer experience and long-term retentionCollaborate effectively with sales, product management, support, and development teams to align on client requirements and project goalsProvide feedback to internal teams on product enhancements, features, and functionality based on client interactions and market insightsContribute to knowledge sharing and best practices within the professional services team and across the organizationSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus)Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in professional services, consulting, or technical implementation roles, preferably in software or technologyStrong technical aptitude and proficiency in software configuration, system integration, and troubleshootingExperience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and project delivery best practicesExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levelsCustomer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and achieving client successAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProblem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues and propose effective solutionsWillingness to travel occasionally to client sites for onsite engagements (travel requirements may vary)Company OverviewAderant provides legal software and practice management software solutions.
