[Remote] Business Analyst, Operations & Transformation

The Business Analyst, Operations & Transformation will support enterprise transformation initiatives by serving as the analytical bridge between business stakeholders and operational solutions, ensuring transformation decisions are driven by clear requirements and measurable outcomes.ResponsibilitiesPartner with TMO leadership and agency stakeholders to identify business needs, document requirements, and translate operational challenges into clear requirements and specificationsFacilitate requirements sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to gather information and validate business requirementsConduct gap analyses to identify process inefficiencies, operational risks, and opportunities for improvementManage stakeholder expectations and maintain alignment throughout transformation initiativesSupport the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of transformation program success metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Establish and maintain KPI tracking methodologies, dashboards, and reporting processes used by leadership to monitor transformation progress and outcomesPrepare recurring reports and presentations for executive leadership and transformation governance meetingsAssist with the development and maintenance of agency readiness scorecards and transformation progress trackingParticipate in Business Process Reviews (BPRs) for newly acquired agencies, ensuring consistent evaluation and documentation methodologies across the organizationAnalyze agency workflows and operational processes throughout the insurance policy lifecycle to identify standardization and optimization opportunitiesEvaluate operational tools, technology solutions, automation opportunities, AI capabilities, and vendor offerings, providing recommendations to improve efficiency and scalabilityDocument current-state and future-state processes, pain points, risks, and recommended improvementsSupport agency assessments and data readiness activities for Applied Epic migration initiativesCollaborate with data quality teams to validate agency data, identify conversion risks, and support remediation effortsParticipate in data mapping reviews, testing, and post-conversion validation activitiesHelp coordinate Applied Epic conversion timelines and support successful project executionSkillsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years of Business Analyst experience supporting operational, transformation, consulting, or process improvement initiativesInsurance industry experience is required, including: Experience working within an insurance agency serving or selling insurance; or Experience supporting insurance operations, agency transformation, or comparable insurance-focused initiativesWorking knowledge of the insurance policy lifecycle and agency operationsStrong requirements gathering, documentation, and business process analysis skillsDemonstrated experience conducting gap analyses and identifying process improvement opportunitiesExperience creating process maps, workflow documentation, and operational assessmentsExperience facilitating stakeholder meetings, workshops, and requirements sessionsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholdersAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills for reporting, analysis, and modelingWorking knowledge of Power BI, SQL, ETL processes, and data validation techniquesExposure to automation, AI-enabled business solutions, and digital transformation initiativesWillingness to travel up to 10%Ability to pass a criminal background check, as permitted by lawExperience supporting Applied Epic migrations and/or AMS conversions preferredFamiliarity with agency management systems, preferably Applied EpicBenefitsCompetitive SalaryHealth Insurance Plans (PPO, HSA, Copay Options)Dental InsuranceVision InsuranceCompany Paid Disability InsuranceSupplemental Insurance including Critical Illness, Accident, Legal, Pet Insurance401(k) with Safe Harbor MatchPaid Time OffPaid HolidaysCompany OverviewWe’ve built the nation’s first Broker-Network, partnering with top independent insurance agencies to unlock growth and transform the industry.
