[Remote] Business Analyst, IT Operations
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ICF is seeking a Business Analyst for their Centralized Operations, Analytics and Technology (COAT) group to support ICF's Sightline. In this role, you will collaborate with product managers, architects, and clients to define business requirements for data processing and reporting platforms, ensuring effective communication and documentation of functional specifications.ResponsibilitiesSupport various teams with data import related requirements and data extraction requestsCreate stories and tasks in JIRA to support the execution of client deliverablesEnsure proper execution of operations work and dev-ops work (enhancements to current products)Support meetings with stakeholders and help prepare functional requirements documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and user storiesFunction as liaison between Product, stakeholders, marketing and other supporting functional organizations, properly crafting and communicating on functional specificationsConvey requirement specifications, and other system documentation in concise and specific language to facilitate stakeholder understandingAssist project delivery through task tracking and project management using project management toolsSkillsBachelor's degree in Math, Engineering, Science, IT or related discipline (applicants can substitute one year of related experience for one year of education)5+ years of experience of data analysis experience within energy, software development or related experience (A Master's degree or PhD may substitute for up to two years of required experience)2+ years of experience prioritizing multiple projects to meet goals, deliverables, and time sensitive assignments and deadlinesPrior experience with gathering software requirements, especially related to data import and data field mappingExperience prioritizing multiple projects to meet goals, deliverables, and time sensitive assignments and deadlinesPrior experience working in an Agile software development processPrior experience with marketing and/or ETL processesKnowledge and experience with JIRA and/or ConfluenceProven ability to develop system documentation to track issues and to work with developers to ensure that requirements are being metExperience defining and documenting business processes and software requirements in an agile software development processBenefitsFlexible workplace arrangements, work-life balanceDonation matching, volunteer opportunitiesTuition reimbursement, access to professional development resources, 401k matching, Employee Stock Purchase PlanCompany OverviewICF is a global consulting and technology services provider focused on making big things possible for our clients.
