The role involves leading strategic sales initiatives, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth through market analysis and tailored solutions.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze market trends and competitive landscape: Conduct in-depth market analysis, identifying trends, opportunities, and competitive threatsDevelop and deliver customized presentations: Develop and deliver customized presentations to address specific client needs and challengesDevelop and maintain key relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and dealers through face-to-face (F2F) engagements, understanding their business needs and developing tailored solutions for winning businessLead sales strategy for market/territory: Develop and implement sales strategies for assigned sales/market territory to ensure revenue targets are met or exceeded. Track activities using customer relationship management (CRM) systemManage complex sales cycles: Manage complex sales cycles, involving multiple stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencersNegotiate and close large-scale deals: Dependent on focus, may negotiate and close large-scale, complex deals, involving significant revenue and strategic importance or support the closing processMay travel up to 80% to meet face to face with clients, influencers, and dealersUses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environmentPerforms other duties within scope as assignedSkillsBachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Design, or similar field of study5 years experience in a consultative B2B, solution-based sales role with demonstrated track of generating revenue and meeting sales targets (3 years related experience with Master's Degree)Ability to travel 80% of the timeDemonstrated entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to grow existing relationships while opening new channels and expanding market presenceEducation Equivalency: Associate's Degree plus 2 years related experience OR 4 years related experience if no post-secondary educationMilitary Equivalency at www.mynextmove.org/vets/find/militaryProximity to the New York metro area is preferred due to partner concentration and travel efficiency, but candidates outside the area are welcome to applyExperience in furniture, design‑driven products, or adjacent industries such as fashion or footwearComfortable working in Excel and sales data—able to review year‑over‑year performance, identify trends, and proactively speak to insightsHighly organized with strong attention to detail and follow‑throughStrong presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to learn product history and communicate the design intent behind each pieceAdvanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Microsoft OfficeComfortable learning and adapting to new technologies and systems, including CRM tools (Dynamics experience a plus)Ability to work cross‑functionally with a customer‑first mindsetFamiliarity with or openness to using AI tools to support productivity and decision‑makingBenefits20 Days Paid Time Off: Plus, the option to buy up to 5 extra days.Health Benefits: Priority Health Medical options, Delta Dental, and Vision Insurance.401k Match: Contribute 6% of your annual salary, and Haworth will match up to 7%.Insurance Coverage: Company-provided Short-Term Disability, Long Term Disability, and Life Insurance.On-Site GymAnnual Bonus ProgramsTuition ReimbursementVolunteer Time OffParental LeavePet InsuranceZero Waste to LandfillCompany OverviewGlobally, Haworth improves workspaces with award-wining furniture, interior architecture and technology solutions.
