[Remote] Business Analyst

They are seeking a Level 2 Business Analyst to serve as a liaison between business units, translating business needs into actionable requirements and supporting various project management activities.ResponsibilitiesTranslate business needs into requirements for a technical audience, including user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, feature overviews, and detailed functional and technical designsWork within a cross-functional team to ensure solutions meet business, customer, and stakeholder needsCollaborate with stakeholders during product visioning, concept development, backlog prioritization, and business objective definitionConduct gap analysis, identify process improvement opportunities, and develop business process models, workflows, and supporting documentationSupport project management activities including planning, testing, implementation coordination, requirements validation, and design confirmationAnalyze data to support decision-making, strategic planning, and product feature clarificationParticipate in client and stakeholder interactions to collect business requirements and help drive product adoptionServe as a point of contact for product feature clarification and provide internal consulting support to business and technical teamsFacilitate JAD sessions, one-on-one stakeholder meetings, and requirements discussions with subject matter experts and usersDefine test scenarios and conditions, create test plans, and facilitate testing according to plan in support of UATSkills5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst on legacy replacement systems and workflow development projectsExperience eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and validating business and technical requirements from stakeholdersAbility to translate business needs into user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, feature overviews, and functional and technical documentationAbility to work closely with multiple subject matter experts and create clear, concise documentationStrong customer-centric mindset with a passion for understanding and addressing customer needsInnovative, proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail and a focus on quality and excellenceAbility to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and tasks of varying complexityAbility to facilitate JAD sessions and one-on-one meetings with users and stakeholdersAbility to define test scenarios and conditions, create test plans, and facilitate testing according to plan in support of UATBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience combined with educationExperience working in pension administration environmentsExperience with Salesforce configurationScrum experienceProduct Owner experienceRelevant business analysis, Agile, Scrum, Salesforce, or Product Owner certifications are preferredCompany OverviewCloud and Things is an experienced State and Local Government IT consulting firms.
