They are seeking a mid-level EHS professional to support large-scale construction projects, ensuring safety practices and compliance with EHS regulations while promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.ResponsibilitiesProvide support to large-scale construction projects by initiating and attending meetings, performing site walks, and ensuring contract requirements are in placePerform construction safety field audits and field data collection using a variety of system platforms such as Predictive Solutions, Construct Secure, etcAnalyze worker health and safety data for negative and positive trendsEducate various stakeholder groups on EHS requirements and best practicesCollect data, create timely reports, and communicate trends from field inspections to stakeholder groupsObserve work practices onsite and strive to create solutions that optimize employee health and wellness at all timesAbility to coach craft worker personnel on OSHA/Client requirements and expectationsWell versed with Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint (knowledge of Excel Pivot Tables is a plus)May deliver technical training and lead meetings with client and trade partner EHS professionalsAbility to develop training programs and slide decks for construction EHS topicsLead meetings as the representative from EHSBuild programs in collaboration with the greater EHS teamLead incident investigations to drive future improvement, safe conditions and work practicesPossess a willingness to continuously learn about new and established processes – be enthusiastic!Have ability to both lead and take direction – ask questions!Be a self-starter and show initiativePrevious experience as a Construction EHS Owners Representative is welcomedMinimum of 5 years of construction safety experience requiredSkillsA minimum of a Bachelor's degree is requiredMinimum of 5 years of construction safety experience required (7 years minimum, if no degree has been obtained)A strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and ability to interpret and apply federal, state, and local EHS regulations in dynamic construction environmentsA solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to assess risks, identify improvements, and implement corrective actions with minimal supervisionDemonstrated commitment to professional growth through continuous learning, certifications, or formal training related to construction safety, risk management, or environmental complianceAbility to coach craft worker personnel on OSHA/Client requirements and expectationsWell versed with Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint (knowledge of Excel Pivot Tables is a plus)Ability to develop training programs and slide decks for construction EHS topicsLead incident investigations to drive future improvement, safe conditions and work practicesPossess a willingness to continuously learn about new and established processes – be enthusiastic!Have ability to both lead and take direction – ask questions!Be a self-starter and show initiativeA degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred to support technical understanding in construction and EHS applicationsPrevious experience as a Construction EHS Owners Representative is welcomedWillingness to pursue and ability to obtain advanced safety certifications such as the Safety Trained Supervisor Construction (STSC), Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), or Certified Safety Professional (CSP)Benefits20-days annual leaveBank holidaysMedicalDentalVisionLife insurance401(K) with company contributionShort-term and long-term disabilityMaternal leavePaid parental leavePaid bereavement leaveLearning and development opportunitiesA wide range of flexible benefits that you can tailor to suit your lifestyle.Company OverviewWe are a business improvement and standards company that partners with more than 77,500 clients globally across multiple industry sectors.
