[Remote] Associate Legal Counsel

The Associate Counsel provides legal support in corporate and commercial matters, including contract negotiation and regulatory compliance, while mitigating legal risks in alignment with business needs.ResponsibilitiesAdvise on various legal issues relating to company business practicesReview, draft, and assist in the negotiation of various contracts and agreements, corporate policies, and standard operating proceduresAssist with regulatory compliance issuesReview and update confidentiality agreementsAssist in developing legal training materialsProvide support in maintaining executed agreements and other corporate documentsAdditional duties as requiredSkillsBachelor's Degree required (Engineering or other technical degrees are a plus)Juris Doctorate is requiredMust be a licensed attorney and in good standing to practice law in the United StatesSelf-starter who can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environmentExceptional written and verbal communication skills requiredStrong analytic, critical thinking and sound judgment abilities with meticulous attention to detail requiredAbility to travel up to 5% annually (globally) for meetings and conferencesPrevious legal experience is a plus, but not requiredSpanish/Japanese bilingual abilities and/or experience living in Japan or working with Japanese companies are a plusPosition can be 100% remote, but the ability to work at least one day a week from one of our facilities (Schaumburg, IL; Dayton, OH; Fraser, MI; Bellaire, MI; or Queretaro, Mexico) is a plusCompany OverviewFictiv is a digital manufacturing and supply chain company that offers a digital platform for sourcing custom mechanical components.
