The Associate Director, Global Integrated Evidence Operations role is responsible for overseeing operational processes and governance for Global Integrated Evidence & Innovation, aiming to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of department operations.ResponsibilitiesSupport the creation and management of IEP program with a focus on operational efficiency by building out and maintaining digital planning platform/repositoryTrack and report IEP program updates to leadershipOversee the digital IEP planning platform/repository and monitor data qualityEnsure operational excellence through the continued development and implementation of standardized processes, tools, and governance for IEP and generationContribute to the development of operational KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement for IEP planning and generationLead enterprise training, change management, and capability building for systems, process, and governanceSupport evidence planning governance to ensure alignment with asset vision and strategic objectivesSupport evidence generation governance to oversee the execution of evidence generation activitiesContribute strategic thinking and thought partnership for evidence operations, systems and governanceRecommend process improvements and efficiencies to leadershipDevelop and maintain relationships with colleagues involved in the IEP, evidence generation and governance processesSkillsBachelor's degree in drug development or business management5+ years of experience in life sciences or project management supporting research needsProven track record in program management with matrixed teams in health or life sciencesStrategic mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks and focus work accordinglyCapability to synthesize large amounts of data into meaningful contentStrong written, verbal, and presentation skills for diverse stakeholdersExcellent project, time management, and organizational skillsAbility to thrive under pressure, meet deadlines, and lead parallel projectsCompetence in drug development lifecycle and scientific understanding of assetsFormal training or certification in project management methodologies (PMP, Six Sigma, Agile)Experience in developing IEPs or managing complex processes across cross-functional stakeholdersExperience in leading or working closely with leadership governanceSuccessful execution and management of multiple projects supporting life sciences researchTechnical experience in drug development/commercializationKnowledge of drug development lifecycle functions such as Discovery, Clinical Trials, and RegulatoryExperience with digital technology to support management of planning and researchBenefitsComprehensive medical, dental, vision, prescription drug coverageCompany provided basic lifeAccidental death & dismembermentShort-term and long-term disability insuranceTuition reimbursementStudent loan assistanceA generous 401(k) matchFlexible time offPaid holidaysPaid leave programsOther company provided benefitsCompany OverviewThere are two Otsuka pharmaceutical industry companies in the U.S.: Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc.
