Neohumanist College of Asheville is a small mission-driven educational nonprofit organization seeking a part-time Associate Dean of Academic Operations and Human Resources. This role focuses on supporting academic coordination, faculty onboarding, operational communications, and administrative organization to enhance institutional systems and processes.ResponsibilitiesHelp coordinate academic meetings, follow-ups, and operational communications with Program Directors and Faculty MembersAssist with tracking course readiness, on-boarding tasks, and academic timelinesHelp ensure important action items and operational tasks do not fall through the cracksSupport organization of academic documents, systems, and work-flow trackingSupport faculty on-boarding and orientation processesHelp track on-boarding completion, required forms, and institutional documentationAssist with communications related to faculty support and operational follow-throughHelp coordinate reminders, scheduling, and accountability processesSupport implementation of existing institutional work-flows and operational systemsAssist with organizing meeting notes, timelines, and operational prioritiesHelp maintain consistency across recurring operational processesAssist in identifying communication gaps or work-flow bottlenecks requiring attentionHelp reduce operational fragmentation by supporting communication continuity across initiativesAssist the President/CEO in maintaining visibility on operational follow-through and institutional prioritiesHelp support accountability and coordination for ongoing projectsSkillsStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple follow-up tasks and timelinesExperience with educational, nonprofit, administrative, or operational coordination workCollaborative and systems-oriented mindsetComfort working in a small evolving organizationAlignment with the mission and values of Neohumanist educationPlease include a resume and your cover letter must describe your understanding and commitment to NeohumanismInclude examples of how you embody Neohumanism and examples of how you have demonstrated Neohumanist valuesExperience with online education systemsExperience with HR on-boarding systems or workflow coordinationFamiliarity with nonprofit or educational organizationsBenefitsPart time hourly non-exempt employee position10 to 16 hours per week, depending on institutional needs and approved workload capacityFlexible and primarily remoteHours tracked and submitted weekly through institutional time-keeping systemsAdditional hours beyond approved expectations require prior authorizationNHCA covers applicable employer payroll taxes and related employment costsCompany OverviewOur mission is to share knowledge that cultivates a Neohumanist vision and creates a sustainable future for all.
