Kroll is a global leader in risk and financial advisory solutions, seeking an Associate Cloud Engineer to join their Site Reliability Engineering team. The role involves maintaining and improving cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS, ensuring high availability and resilience of their SaaS solutions.ResponsibilitiesWorking in a team to provide third line support for the infrastructure and applicationTake responsibility, ownership, and coordinate fault resolutionWork alongside a team of engineers where necessary to fix faults that are raised against the supported elements, networks, or applicationsOwn the deployment process to provide regular service improvements delivered by our engineering teamFor service impacting incidents lead the investigation into the RCA, producing any reports and co-ordinating the delivery of any fixes to mitigate further occurrencesUse and maintain our monitoring platformsSkillsStrong hands‑on experience with Linux operating systems, including Debian, Ubuntu, and CentOSProven ability to work within distributed, cloud‑based environments across Azure, AWS, or GCPProficiency with monitoring and observability tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, or New RelicExceptional troubleshooting and fault‑finding skills in complex technical environmentsWorking knowledge of Oracle databases and related toolingExperience with IBM QualityStage for data quality and transformation workflowsSolid understanding of SQL for querying, analysis, and data manipulationFamiliarity with Software‑Defined Networking concepts and technologiesAwareness of cloud and platform security best practicesBackground in incident management processes and frameworksPossession of Azure or AWS cloud certificationsExperience with release management and deployment automation toolingExposure to containerization technologies, particularly DockerCompany OverviewKroll is a provider of risk solutions that helps clients make confident risk management decisions.
