[Remote] Associate Analyst, Business License

The Associate Analyst, Business License role involves providing compliance support by managing business license registrations and renewals, ensuring timely filings, and handling data requests for clients.ResponsibilitiesManage business license renewals and reporting for assigned clients with low complexityEnsure all client license renewals and new registrations are filed in a timely mannerResponsible for accurate business license data entry into all departmental systemsSubmit and process client data requests necessary for processing and filing license renewalsInvestigate, document, and resolve all issues for licenses that havenāt been received within 30 days of submissionResearch jurisdictional licensing requirements for new client locationsPrepare and process client funding requests for license renewal approvalPrepare bank reconciliations for client accounts and follow up on all discrepancies and checks that remain outstanding after 60 daysAssist other Analysts with missing renewals and license follow-up calls when neededAssist Business License Assistants during heavy filing season with scanning, uploading, and file managementWork directly with clients on data gathering, issue resolution, and jurisdictional issues dailyAssist Supervisors and Managers with any special client projectsPerform other duties as assignedSkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredStrong organizational skills and ability to complete high volume of work in a timely and highly accurate mannerAbility to apply professional knowledge to carry out assignments with limited supervisionProficient in Microsoft Excel and WordAbility to learn tax compliance software quickly (LicenseHQ, MS Dynamics, PTCA)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively on a teamAbility to work overtime as required; overtime is expected to be an average of 5-10 hours per week during the months of December ā AprilAssociate degree or higher preferredBenefitsEmployee stock ownership program eligibility begins on day one of employment (ESOP contribution is targeted at 6% of your annual compensation)Company paid parental leaveGenerous time off packageMultiple [benefit plans](https://dmainc.com/careers/benefits/us/), eligibility begins on day one of employmentCulturally focused on work/life balance, and the overall wellness of our employeesCompany OverviewGreat Place to WorkĀ® Certified⢠DMA, a proudly employee-owned company, has been solving corporate tax challenges for its clients since 1972.
