Remote AP Psychology Teacher
We are a dynamic international education firm dedicated to supporting students from over 30 countries as they transition to U.S. schools. We are seeking a part-time AP Psychology Teacher to join our team.
We are looking for experienced educators who are passionate about guiding high school students in understanding psychological concepts and exploring real-world issues. Our teachers may be asked to facilitate both private and group classes.
This is a part-time, hourly role, fully remote, with no travel required. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with certifications and experience.
About the Course:
AP Psychology provides students with a comprehensive introduction to the study of psychology. Students will explore key concepts, theories, and research methods, learning to analyze and interpret psychological phenomena while developing their own perspectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Connect psychological concepts and theories to real-life scenarios, helping students see the relevance of psychology in their everyday lives.
Facilitate understanding and interpretation of data, enabling students to draw conclusions and make informed decisions based on psychological research.
Analyze research studies in psychology with students, fostering critical thinking and discussion about methodologies, findings, and their implications.
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
AP certification or equivalent experience in teaching AP courses.
At least 3 years of teaching experience in a similar role, preferably in an international or virtual school setting.
Strong command of the English language, both spoken and written.
