[Remote] AI-First Software Engineer / Full Stack (100% Remote)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Employbridge is the largest light industrial staffing company in the United States, providing scalable workforce solutions. They are seeking an AI-First Software Engineer who will design end-to-end system architectures and direct AI agents to generate production-grade code, focusing on architecture rather than syntax.ResponsibilitiesDesign end-to-end system architectures spanning mobile (Flutter), web (React), backend (Java/Spring Boot), and cloud infrastructure (AWS)Write detailed, gap-free specifications precise enough for AI agents to generate production-ready code on the first passDecompose complex features into dependency-ordered tasks optimized for agentic executionDirect AI coding agents (such as Claude and Claude Code) to deliver complete, working implementationsRun agentic workflows where AI orchestrates AI — one model designing the specification, another executing itDrive rapid generate-and-validate cycles measured in minutes, not daysReview AI-generated code for correctness, security, and architectural alignmentCatch hallucinations and specification gaps early, before they compoundGuarantee production quality: sound error handling, consistent patterns, enterprise-grade reliabilityContribute to our AI-first development practices and documentationIdentify patterns that raise AI output quality and shrink iteration cyclesHelp scale this approach across the engineering organizationSkills5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with principal-level depth in at least one domain (mobile, web frontend, backend services, or infrastructure)Full-stack literacy — you can read, understand, and validate code across Flutter/Dart, React/TypeScript, Java/Spring Boot, SQL, and cloud infrastructure, even where you haven't shipped production code in all of themSystems thinking — you instinctively trace how a UI change ripples to the API, the schema, query performance, and production behaviorExceptional written communication — you can write a 500-line technical specification with zero ambiguity. Precision in language is a core engineering skill hereFast pattern recognition — you spot wrong code, missing edge cases, and architectural problems in seconds, not hoursAI fluency — you're already comfortable building with AI agents and want to push how far the approach goesComfort with ambiguity and rapid change — this is a new way of working, and you'll help define itEnterprise software experience (staffing, HR tech, workforce management, or similar domains)Hands-on use of agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar)Mobile development background (Flutter, React Native, or native iOS/Android)Microservices architecture and API designAWS experience (EKS, RDS, MSK/Kafka, Lambda, or similar)A track record in small, high-output teamsBenefitsCompetitive base salary plus monthly bonus potentialHigh IQ / EQ TeamComprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision benefits starting on the first of the month following hire datePet Insurance starting on the first of the month following hire date8 Paid Holidays per yearPaid Time Off401(k)Wellness ProgramParental LeaveMedical/Dental/VisionPrescription drug benefits401(k)Paid time off and holidaysA wellness programIncentive programsA variety of career paths and encourage promotion from withinCompany OverviewEmployBridge provides a host of industry-specific staffing solutions and workforce management strategies.
