They are seeking an AI Automation Developer – Ecommerce Operations to build and extend an internal AI tool that automates marketing tasks for the client's marketing team. The role involves designing automation processes, implementing validation strategies, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance marketing capabilities.ResponsibilitiesDesign and document processes and procedures to ensure the tool operates within defined requirementsImplement automation, test plans, and validation strategies for the toolDevelop and maintain automation that reduces repetitive, manual marketing processes such as CTAs, phone numbers, and buy flowsIdentify and investigate issues found during testing and use, and resolve themOnboard new marketing use cases and add functionality, prioritized with the product ownerWork closely with the product owner, marketing stakeholders, and supporting engineers to align on requirements and resolve issuesDeploy and host the tool so it is available for broader useKeep clear documentation so the tool can be supported or handed off laterSkills3 to 5 years of relevant experience building and shipping software, automation, or AI-driven toolsExperience designing and implementing automation and validation strategiesExperience developing and maintaining automated scripts or workflows to reduce repetitive manual workHands-on experience building with AI tooling, such as LLM-based applications, AI coding assistants, or AI automation platformsExperience evaluating build versus buy decisions for AI tools and determining the right architecture for this type of toolClear written and verbal communication, including explaining technical work to non-technical audiencesSomeone who can translate the UAT use cases and convert them into Automation scriptsExperience applying AI or automation to marketing teams or marketing operationsExperience building and maintaining internal tools end to endExperience working across marketing, product, and engineering teamsExperience identifying and investigating issues and improving process qualityCompany OverviewEmpowering businesses of all sizes with access to bright talent for project solutions, staffing, and freelance expertise.
