[Remote] Advanced Wind Travel Troubleshooting Technician- Vestas

They are seeking Wind Travel Troubleshooting technicians certified on all Vestas platforms to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to wind turbine generators and related equipment. This position involves extensive travel and requires relevant wind experience. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues Calibrate and adjust turbine components to enhance performance Conduct maintenance of equipment including resolving electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic malfunctions on Vestas turbines Diagnose problems involving wind turbine generators or control systems Follow specific verbal and written instructions to perform Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) and associated equipment assembly, repair, and maintenance Complete and maintain required company and client documentation and records Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Renewables Employee handbook and insurance requirements Clean and organize tools, equipment, and work area including sweeping, mopping, wiping oil, grease, solvent spills Skills 1 year of relevant Wind experience Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues Calibrate and adjust turbine components to enhance performance Conduct maintenance of equipment including resolving electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic malfunctions on Vestas turbines Diagnose problems involving wind turbine generators or control systems Follow specific verbal and written instructions to perform Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) and associated equipment assembly, repair, and maintenance Complete and maintain required company and client documentation and records Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Renewables Employee handbook and insurance requirements Clean and organize tools, equipment, and work area including sweeping, mopping, wiping oil, grease, solvent spills Twelve (12) months related Wind or Wind troubleshooting experience required Vestas training Vestas LOTO Certified Service reporting, work order documents, and records will be written neatly, legibly and completed correctly Ability to read schematics Must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English to safely perform job duties, interpret technical instructions, and communicate effectively with team members and customers Ability and willingness to climb a wind turbine vertically at least 300 feet Maintain a weight between 120 and 280 pounds, including clothing and boots, for OSHA safety compliance Lift and move equipment as needed (more than 50 pounds) Work in an indoor or outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions with blowing pollen, dust, and grasses Tower Rescue/ Tractel and SRK 11 Certifications Benefits Performance and referral bonuses Production incentives Tool/equipment and fuel stipends Company vehicle Per diem Health and life insurance 401k with employer match Paid time off Tuition reimbursement Professional development courses Flexible spending accounts HSA option Paid vacation Paid holidays Company-matching 401(k) Retirement Life Insurance Professional development training Company Overview Pearce Services is a leading provider of repair, maintenance, engineering, installation and expansion solutions.
