[Remote] Admin Assistant to Social Media (Volunteer/Remote)

They are seeking a volunteer Admin Assistant to support day-to-day operations, manage tasks, and provide administrative support while helping further ARO’s mission.ResponsibilitiesSupport day-to-day operations by managing, assigning, and reassigning tasks across the team to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projectsMonitor and maintain the campaign content calendar, ensuring deadlines are tracked, updated, and clearly communicated to relevant team membersProvide high-level administrative and executive support, assisting with prioritization, scheduling, and general coordinationReview and edit a variety of content types to ensure accuracy and alignment with brand standardsMonitor communication channels and assigned tasks daily (Monday–Thursday) and respond within 24 hoursAttend the monthly ARO Company Meeting on the second Tuesday of each month at 12:30 pm ESTPerforms other related duties as assignedSkillsMust be available to volunteer 8-10 hours a weekMust be based in the U.S. or CanadaLong-term volunteer commitment (12+ months) requiredStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at onceExcellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to clarity and professionalismHighly dependable with strong follow-through and the ability to meet deadlinesSome background using Canva, Slack, and Asana preferredCompany OverviewAbuse Refuge Org (ARO) is a Public Charity 501(c)(3) IRS Registered Non-Profit Organization comprised of the most eclectic international array of professional, passionate and dedicated staff and leadership in the marketplace today, currently approaching 100 staff personnel.
