Albright College is inviting applications for adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate human resource management courses in a fully online asynchronous format. The role involves facilitating engaging courses, providing feedback on student work, and fostering a supportive learning environment for adult learners.ResponsibilitiesFacilitate engaging undergraduate and graduate-level courses in an asynchronous online environment using a course blueprint modelProvide timely, substantive feedback on student workSupport critical thinking, applied learning, and professional skill developmentMaintain an active and consistent instructional presenceFoster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for adult learnersSkillsMaster's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Leadership or a closely related fieldExperience teaching in online, accelerated, asynchronous formatsComfort using experiential learning strategies (e.g., applied research, simulations, certifications, AI-supported activities) within a pre-designed courseStrong communication, feedback, and student engagement skillsDoctoral degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Leadership or a closely related fieldMaster's degree with significant professional experience will be consideredSHRM certification (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) and/or SHRM membership strongly preferredFamiliarity with D2L BrightspaceProfessional or clinical experience preferredCompany OverviewAlbright College is a school in Reading.
