[Remote] Accounts Receivable Manager

They are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to oversee and optimize the revenue cycle for their cardiology-focused practice partners, ensuring timely collections and effective resolution of outstanding claims.ResponsibilitiesOwn and continuously improve CardioOne's AR tracking processes, ensuring data integrity, aging accuracy, and actionable visibility across all practice partnersMonitor outstanding balances, claims status, and payment posting to ensure timely follow-up and resolutionIdentify and escalate trends in denials, underpayments, and aging buckets to leadershipEnsure all AR activity is documented within the practice management system per CardioOne standardsServe as the primary point of contact for payer escalations, claim disputes, and appeals across commercial and government payersCollaborate with third-party billing vendors to ensure accurate and timely claim submission, follow-up, and resolutionProvide vendors with necessary clinical documentation, payer requirements, and practice-specific information to support collectionsAct as the escalation point when claims remain unresolved past defined thresholdsSkills5+ years of experience in accounts receivable, revenue cycle, or medical billing, with meaningful exposure to cardiology or cardiovascular specialty careStrong working knowledge of commercial and government payer billing and reimbursement requirements for cardiovascular services, with emphasis on cardiac imaging and cardiology proceduresProficiency with Athena (athenaOne) or comparable EHR/practice management platforms, including AR workflow toolsExceptional organizational skills and ability to manage AR operations across multiple simultaneous practice environmentsExperience with cardiology-specific services — including cardiac CT/CTA, PET MPI, echocardiography, nuclear medicine, and cardiac monitoring (MCT/MCOT, Holter, ILR) — is a significant advantage and will be weighted heavilyExperience with surgical and interventional cardiovascular procedure billing is a strong plusPreference given to those who work in Central or Eastern Time ZoneBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision benefitsCompany OverviewCardioOne is a physician-centric partner that helps independent cardiology practices reach their full potential.
